General Zeta Beta Information

ZB SignTKE currently has 19 actives.
The majors of our actives include Engineering, Communications, Business, Music, Psychology and More.

The Zeta Beta chapter is dedicated to improving each member's scholastic standing through their college years with a variety of academic programs. The chapter is founded on the principals of combining the strengths of an individual with a strong brotherhood working towards a common vision.

TKE Zeta Beta, every fall, holds a mock beauty pageant, Glamour Girl, competition to raise money for the St. Jude's Cancer Research Hospital.

Members also participate in activities such as Make A Difference Day, UE Gives Back, Relay for Life, volunteer at Native American Days, volunteer at the Culbertson Mansion Haunted House, and many other activities that help benefit the community and UE.

The House

TKE House - During the SummerThe Zeta Beta TKE House is located on 544 South Weinbach Ave, Evansville, IN 47714. (MapQuest)

The house can hold 6 members, is university owned, and is considered a part of Village Housing. This means that members do not have to cancel a university housing contract to move into the house. Cost varies and any questions should be directed to residence life on campus.

There are 4 bedrooms (2 singles and 2 doubles), 3 full bathrooms, living room, full kitchen, study area, a lounge area (used for meetings), and a basement.

The typical education program lasts 6 weeks.

Associate members will learn about important information, traditions, and how to be a true brother, which are all vital parts to membership in Tau Kappa Epsilon, based on the three principles of love, charity, and esteem.

If not enough time is left in the semester to begin or integrate a new associate into an education program, he can still sign during the current semester, and start education in the following semester. If this option is taken, no fees will be charged until education begins.

The dues for TKE are broken down into two payments.

There is a $90 candidate fee during the first part of the semester, and later in the semester an initiation fee of $210 is charged.

All following semesters the dues are $375, and can be billed directly through the school. This means that dues can be paid through loans, or any financial aid remaining.
